Eaton Explores Energy Policy Challenges at GLOBALCON 2014

Power management company Eaton today announced that the company will be exhibiting at the 25th Annual GLOBALCON Conference and Expo in Atlantic City, N.J. from April 9-10, 2014, highlighting energy surety and energy management solutions. Bill Anderson, director, strategy and business development, Eaton’s Government Sector, will also speak at the event, discussing the challenges facing comprehensive energy policy.
Held at the Atlantic City Convention Center, the conference provides a forum for attendees to expand their knowledge of fast-moving developments in the energy field, explore promising new technologies, compare energy supply options, and learn about innovative and cost-conscious project implementation strategies.
Visitors to Eaton’s booth, number 512, will learn about the company’s energy management solutions, as well as meet and discuss energy policy issues with Anderson. Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business will also exhibit at the event, booth number 514, displaying a number of energy-saving indoor and outdoor light-emitting diode (LED) products with advanced LED technology. This includes products featuring the company’s new patented WaveStream™ LED technology, offering a new level of energy efficiency, optical performance and brightness control – all at an affordable price.
“World leaders have grappled with the challenges of comprehensive energy policy for years with little success,” said Anderson. “My presentation will help generate thought-provoking dialogue among GLOBALCON attendees and others participating in the greater energy policy debate.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to and discuss with Anderson as he shares his white paper, titled “The Challenges Facing Comprehensive Energy Policy,” surrounding the importance of developing a comprehensive global energy policy. The paper features segments such as providing for energy surety, the role of the military and the pros and cons of energy independence.
